Random Decision Maker

Type your options one per line and let the tool pick one at random for you.

How it works

Stuck between a few choices? List them in the box — one option per line — and hit the button. The tool picks exactly one at random and shows you the winner.

Every option has an equal chance, and the roll only happens when you click. Blank lines are ignored, so you can space things out however you like without throwing off the odds.

It's perfect for the little standoffs: what to eat, which movie to start, whose turn it is, or which of three chores to do first. When you genuinely don't mind either way, letting chance decide is faster than debating.

Frequently asked questions

Does each option have the same odds?

Yes. Every non-blank line gets an equal shot each time you click, no matter how long or short it is.

How many options can I add?

As many as you want — just keep one per line. The count above the button confirms how many the tool sees.

Can I get the same answer twice in a row?

Definitely. Each click is independent, so it's completely possible to land on the same option two or more times running, just like flipping a coin.
