YouTube Money Calculator

Put in your monthly views and a CPM range, and it estimates the ad revenue those views could bring in — shown as a range, because YouTube pay is never one flat number.

Estimated monthly
$500.00 – $2,000.00
Estimated yearly
$6,000.00 – $24,000.00

This is ad revenue only, and it's a rough band — YouTube pays on monetized views, not every view. Real CPMs swing a lot by niche: finance and tech run high, gaming and vlogs run lower.

How it works

CPM is what advertisers pay per thousand monetized views. Multiply your views by the CPM and divide by 1,000 to get revenue. This does that for a low and a high CPM so you see a realistic band.

CPM varies wildly by topic. Finance, tech, and business channels can clear $10+ CPM, while gaming, entertainment, and vlogs often sit in the low single digits. The $2–$8 default is a reasonable starting spread.

Keep in mind this is ad revenue only and reflects monetized views, which are a slice of total views. Sponsorships, memberships, and merch usually dwarf ad income for established creators. It all calculates in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Why show a range instead of one number?

Because a single figure would be misleading. Two channels with identical views can earn very differently depending on niche, audience country, and season. A low-to-high band sets honest expectations.

Is this my total YouTube income?

This covers ad revenue from the Partner Program only. Most creators earning real money add sponsorships, affiliate links, channel memberships, and merch on top — often making ads the smaller piece.

What CPM should I plug in?

Check your own YouTube Studio analytics for your actual CPM and use that. If you don't have data yet, try $2 on the low end and $8 on the high end, then adjust toward your niche.
