Attendance Percentage Calculator
Divide classes attended by total classes for your attendance percentage, plus how many more you can miss and stay above a target.
How it works
Attendance percentage is simple on its face: classes you showed up to, divided by classes held, times 100. Attend 42 of 50 sessions and you're at 84%. Where it gets useful is planning around a required minimum.
Plenty of courses enforce a floor — 75% is common — and dipping below it can cost you exam eligibility. So the calculator also works out how many of the classes still ahead you could skip while keeping your percentage at or above the target you set.
That second number is the practical one. It answers 'can I afford to miss Friday?' without you having to redo the fraction each time. Set the target to your course's rule and the buffer updates instantly.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate attendance percentage?
Divide the number of classes you attended by the total number held, then multiply by 100. Forty-two out of fifty classes is 42 ÷ 50 × 100, which is 84%.
How many classes can I miss and stay above my target?
The tool finds the largest number of future classes you can skip so your attended count divided by the growing total stays at or above your target percentage. If you're already below it, that number is zero.
Does it count classes I haven't had yet?
It's based on classes held so far for your current percentage. The 'can still miss' figure looks ahead, assuming those skipped sessions get added to your total but not your attended count.
