Bold Text Generator
Turn your text into Unicode bold or bold-italic that you can paste straight into a bio or post — no rich-text editor, no markdown, just characters that carry their own weight.
Bold-italic covers letters only; digits stay plain because Unicode has no bold-italic digits. Sans bold includes bold numbers too.
How it works
Social bios usually strip formatting, so a normal bold button does nothing there. Unicode has a separate set of bold letters built into the standard, and swapping your text for those letters gives you bold that survives the paste.
Pick serif bold for a classic heavy look, bold-italic for a slanted emphasis, or sans bold for a cleaner modern weight that also bolds your numbers.
Copy the result and drop it into Instagram, LinkedIn, a Twitter/X bio, or a Discord message. Since it's real text, it stays bold wherever you paste it.
Frequently asked questions
Why won't my numbers go bold in bold-italic mode?
Unicode never defined bold-italic digits, so there's nothing to swap them for. Numbers stay plain in that mode. Serif bold and sans bold both include bold digits if you need them.
Can search engines and screen readers still read it?
Screen readers may read bold Unicode letter by letter or skip it, and search engines don't treat it as normal text. It's great for a bio but a poor choice for anything that needs to be searchable or accessible.
Does this actually change the font?
No — it substitutes each letter for a bold Unicode character. There's no font file involved, which is exactly why it keeps working after you paste it somewhere with no formatting options.
